Where devotion meets community
Shri Sankat Mochan Navdurga Temple is a spiritual home for families across Melbourne's south-east. Devotees gather here for daily aarti, weekly Hanuman Chalisa and Sundarkand path, and the great festivals of the Hindu calendar.
Hanuman ji is worshipped as Sankat Mochan, the one who frees his devotees from difficulty. Alongside him, Maa Navdurga is honoured in all nine of her forms, from Shailaputri to Siddhidatri.

Is there a dress code for visiting the temple?
Please dress modestly with shoulders and knees covered. Shoes are removed before entering the prayer hall, and shoe racks are provided.
How do I book a pooja or ceremony?
Use the enquiry form on our Contact page or email us with the pooja, preferred date and number of guests. A priest or volunteer will confirm the details with you.
Can I make a donation or sponsor a pooja?
Yes. Visit the Donate page for ways to give, including sponsoring prasad, flowers and festival celebrations.
How can I volunteer?

Is there parking at the temple?
Please check with the temple for parking arrangements, especially on festival days when the area is busy.
